Species that require full written details

The following list represents those species on the official Arizona Bird Committee review list. Species in brackets [ ] have been accepted to the Arizona list, but have not been physically documented in the state. It is requested that reports of these species be accompanied by full details, including when possible, a photo, tape recording, video, or field sketch. Reports should be submitted to Gary Rosenberg, Secretary of the A.B.C. and co-regional editor of North American Birds, at P.O. Box 91856, Tucson, AZ, 85752-1856. They can be e-mailed to ghrosenberg@comcast.net This list is revised on a yearly basis at the annual meeting of the A.B.C. This list was last revised August 2008

Species that require sketch details for inclusion in North American Birds

The species listed below are those considered rare or casual but have had at least forty records. The committee and North AmericanBirds editors feel that at least minimal (sketch) details are requested to be turned in with the details of the sighting in order for the sighting to be included in the NAB seasonal report, and for that sighting to be considered "official" with regard to the records keeping for the state. Sketch details should include a brief description of the bird, the circumstances surrounding the sighting (date, time, lighting conditions, distance to bird etc.). Sketch details can be sent to the NAB regional editors: Gary Rosenberg, P.O. Box 91856, Tucson, AZ 85752-1856, e-mail: ghrosenberg at comcast.net, or Mark Stevenson, 4201 E. Monte Vista Dr., #J207, Tucson, AZ 85712, e-mail: drbrdr at att.net.
