Neotropic Cormorant (Phalacrocorax brasilianus), Prescott Valley, Yavapai CountyThis Neotropic Cormorant was
discovered and photographed by Scott and Debbie Rasmussen on 28 March 2009
at about 3:30 in the afternoon at Fain Park in Prescott Valley, AZ. Accidental in Yavapai County. Only 1-2 records in the last decade in the county. Note the
small, pointed gular pouch, white line behind the gular pouch, feathered loral, long tail, and uniform dark brown underparts.
