Worm-eating Warbler (Helmitheros vermivorum), Phoenix Rio Salado, Maricopa County

This Worm-eating Warbler was discovered by Justin Jones on 31 January 2009 at the Rio Salado in downtown Phoenix.  It was photographed by Brendon Grice on 01 February 2009.

Worm-eating Warbler is a casual transient and winter visitor with a few summer records as well.

It is one of the most distinctive warblers and, seen well, it is unmistakable.
