Chestnut-sided Warbler (Dendroica pensylvanica), Sweetwater, Pima County

This Chestnut-sided Warbler was first seen by John Saba on 27 September 2009 and was photographed by Andrew Core on 30 September 2009.

Chestnut-sided Warbler is a casual transient and winter visitor.

The chestnut sides make this individual unmistakable, but it also displays the bright yellow-green back that makes this species distinctive in all plumages among similar wing-barred warblers.
