Dickcissel (Spiza americana), San Pedro River House, Cochise County

This Dickcissel was seen by Craig Robson and Heidi Doman and photographed by Craig Robson on 28 May 2009 coming to feeders outside the visitor center, with other seed-eating species.

Dickcissel is a rare migrant in Arizona, usually detected flying over by its distinctive "electric buzz" call.
