Hooded Warbler (Wilsonia citrina), Pinal Peak, Gila County

This unmistakable male Hooded Warbler was discovered and photographed by Jim Burns on 29 August 2009 on Pinal Peak. 

Casual to rare mostly spring transient and summer visitor. A former review species, reports have increased over the last few years and there are now multiple reports every year. 2009 has seen an especially large number of reports.
