Black-throated Blue Warbler (Dendroica caerulescens), Fool Hollow Lake State Park, Show Low, Navajo County

This female Black-throated Blue Warbler was discovered and photographed by Karen Lahr and Paul Swatsenbarg on 09 November 2009. 

Casual transient and occasional winter visitor.

Unique looking warbler.  Note plain appearance, face pattern and (usually) white at the base of the primaries.
