Greater Pewee (Latin Name), El Rio Golf Course, Tucson, Pima County

This Greater Pewee was discovered by Susan Birky and others on the Tucson CBC on 20 December 2009 and photographed by Philip Kline on 21 December 2009.

Casual in winter, especially away from border canyons.

Large flycatcher with a pronounced crest and long large bill that is entirely orange undeneath.  The bird was likely a male as it sang its "Jose Maria" song frequently.
