Long-tailed Duck (Clangula hyemalis), Glen Canyon Dam, Coconino County

Three Long-tailed Ducks were found and photographed by Shaun Putz on 02 April 2010 below Glen Canyon Dam in Page, AZ. All looked like males, two winter and one summer plumaged. The long tail is visable on one of the photos.

Long-tailed Duck is a rare but fairly regular winter visitor to Arizona.
