Chestnut-sided Warbler (Dendroica pensylvanica), Santa Cruz River, Tumacacori, Santa Cruz County

This Chestnut-sided Warbler was found by Will Russell on 31 October 2010 and was photographed by Laurens Halsey on 02 November 2010 about 0.4 mile north of the river crossing at Santa Gertrudis Lane.

Rare transient and winter visitor.

Green crown and back, yellowish wingbars, plain face with distinct white eye-ring (partially visible in image), plain (unstreaked) underparts, and tail-cocked posture.
