Varied Thrush (Ixoreus naevius), Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Pima County

This Varied Thrush was discovered by Linda Harris on 8 November 2010 and photographed by Jim Hays the same day.

Varied Thrush is a rare winter visitor to Arizona.

Orange breast and eyeline, black breast band and wing pattern make this thrush unmistakable.
