California Gull (Larus californicus), Columbus Park, Pima County

This California Gull was discovered by Deborah Vath and photographed by David Quanrud on 16 November 2010.

Rare fall transient and casual the rest of the year in SE Arizona. 

This Gull shows the characteristic red and black coloration on the bill and has a dark iris, consistent with a California Gull.
