Broad-tailed Hummingbird (Selasphorus platycercus), Gilbert Water Ranch , Maricopa County

This Broad-tailed Hummingbird was discovered by Jim Kopitzke on 29 November 2010 and photographed by David Vander Pluym on 03 December 2010.

Casual in winter anywhere in the state. 

Limited rufous on tail, peachy sides, lack of a white half collar eliminates other Selasphorus.
