Bell's Vireo (Latin Name), Ahakhav Tribal Preserve, La Paz County

This Bell's Vireo was discovered by David Vander Pluym and Lauren Harter and photographed by Lauren Harter on 26 January 2011,

Bell's Vireo is casual in Arizona in winter. Rosenberg et al. (1991) list four winter records in the Lower Colorado River Valley.

The thick, stout bill, indistinct spectacles, dull olive back, faint yellowish wash on the flanks, broad lower wing-bar, and relatively long tail are all good marks for Bell's Vireo.
