Plain-capped Starthroat (Heliomaster constantii), Behrstock/LeMay residence, Lower Ash Canyon, Huachuca Mts., Cochise County

This Plain-capped Starthroat was found and identified by Karen LeMay approximately two weeks prior to this photo being by Robert Behrstock on 31 August 2011

About 20 records for Arizona.  It is possible this is the same bird reported from Miller Canyon in early July.

Size, bill length, red chin, face stripes, white rump stripe (not visible in this photo). (Sky appears white because of overexposure to brighten bird)
