Cape May Warbler (Dendroica tigrina), Sweetwater Wetlands, Pima County

This Cape May Warbler was discovered and photographed by Michael Lester on 5 October 2011.

There are 12 previous records of this species: 1 was discovered at Pena Blanca Lake in September 2011.

Photo shows yellow breast (brighter in field) with heavy streaking and sharp bill. Not visible in the photo that was visible in the field is the yellow rump, white undertail coverts, gray auriculars, and white wing bars.
