Northern Parula (Parula americana), Battista B&B, Hereford, Cochise County

This Northern Parula was discovered and photographed by Tony Battista on 22 October 2011.

Northern Parula is an uncommon but annual transient in the state.

This is a dainty warbler with a sharp bill (with orange on the lower mandible), a green mantle, two short white wing bars, pale eye arcs, and bright yellow on the throat and upper breast.
