Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe), Bermuda Pasture, Havasu NWR, Mohave County

This Eastern Phoebe was discovered by Lauren Harter and photographed by David Vander Pluym on 16 November 2011.

Casual in the LCRV in late fall and winter.

Note the dark cap, rounded head, pale throat, short primary projection and dark bill which help to separate Eastern Phoebe from the Wood-Pewees.
