Cave Swallow (Petrochelidon fulva), Kennedy Park, Pima County

Discovered by Molly Pollock and Mark Stevenson on 4 December 2011 and photographed by Andrew Core on 04 December 2011.

There are eight previous records for Arizona, including the returning nesting birds on the University of Arizona campus from 1979-87.

Buffy rump makes it either a Cliff or a Cave Swallow; pale throat without any black and extensive buffy forehead make it a Cave Swallow.
