This Long-tailed Duck was discoveredby Jan Richmond and Kathleen Blair on 12 December 2012 and photographed by John West on 13 December 2012.

Long-tailed Duck is a rare but regular winter visitor and migrant. 

Easily identifiable by head pattern.
