Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe), Crossroads Park, Santa Cruz River, Pima County

This Eastern Phoebe was discovered by Moez Ali on 14 January 20111 and photographed on 04 February 2012.

Rare but regular winter visitor.  However, this winter has been extraordinary with nearly 20 reports. 

Dark cap and face, with pale throat, yellowish belly and underparts, brownish upperparts and wings with weak wingbars and wing edgings.
