Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Ramsey Canyon Inn, Cochise County

This Hooded Warbler was discovered an dphotographed by James Scheib on 16 April 2012.

Rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. A former review species, reports have increased over the last few years and there were multiple reports every year.  However, in the last couple of years, reports seem to have declined again. 

Male unmistakable.
