Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Willow Creek Preserve, Mohave County

This Yellow-throated Vireo was discovered and photographed by David Vander Pluym on 27 April 2012 at the Willow Creek Preserve outside of Kingman.

Rare, but regular transient and summer visitor, with about 30 previous records, averaging about one record per year. 

Yellow throat and spectacles. White wing bars. Vireo bill.
