Plain-capped Starthroat (Heliomaster constantii), Lower Ash Canyon, Hereford, Cochise CountyThis Plain-capped Starthroat has been present in Robert Behrstock's back yard in Lower Ash Canyon since at least 13 May 2012. It was photographed on 04 July 2012. It usually perches high in oak trees and only rarely comes to feeders. Rare summer visitor. Annual for the last 6 years.

the state, and most have occurred from late June through
