Louisiana Waterthrush (Parkesia motacilla), Santa Cruz River at Clark Crossing Road, Tubac, Santa Cruz County

This Louisiana Waterthrush was discovered 18 September 2012 by Dave Stejskal on a Tucson Audubon Society field trip at Clark Crossing Road and photographed the next day by Michael Lester.

Casual fall transient and winter resident.

Clean white throat, with white supercillium that broadens behind the eye. This bird also sang once and would call frequently.
