Crescent-chested Warbler (Oreothlypis superciliosa), Stewart Camp Ground,  Cave Creek, Chiricahua Mtns, Cochise County

This Crescent-chested Warbler was discovered by David Griffin and Daniel Lusk and photographed by David Griffin on 19 April 2013.

Casual visitor to Arizona.  It has bred.  Eleven accepted records and one recent report (2011) pending.  Of those twelve records, six have been since 2005 suggesting perhaps that this species is occuring more frequently.

Prominent white supercilium, green or yellow-green patch on back, yellow throat and breast, white semi-circle under eye. Lack of obvious chestnut crescent on the chest indicates this is a likely a female.
