Bobolink (Dolichonyx oryzivorus), Sedona Wetlands, Yavapai County

This Bobolink was discovered and photographed by Stewart Boots on 07 June 2013. 

Once a rare, but regular fall migrant and occasional breeder in Eastern Arizona, Bobolink in recent years has become very rare and was added to the list of review species.  

The black head with buff nape patch and white scapulars, lower back and rump are unique.
