This Berylline Hummingbird was discovered by Ed Dunn on 21 July 2013.  It was photographed by Laurens Halsey on 29 July 2013

Rare summer visitor.  It has bred.  Increasing over the last decade and now nearly annual.  However, this is the first one reported in Arizona since fall 2011.

Note rufous or cinnamon wing panels, purple-bronze upper tail, and bright green head, throat, & back.
