This light morph first year Rough-legged Hawk was found by Lindsay Story on 01 December 2013 and photographed by husband, Keith W Story. The bird gave excellent scope views but remained too distant for good photos.

Regular in northern Arizona this species is rarely reported from under birded Gila County

Solid dark belly band. Dark wrist patch. Dark tips on white flight feathers.
