Ruddy Ground-Dove (Columbina talpacoti), Small pond just east of Brookerson Road and 0.5 miles north of Cochise County line., Graham County

This Ruddy Ground-Dove was photographed by Jeff Coker on 17 December 2013

Rare and local, primarily in late fall and winter to SE Az and the Phoenix area this may be a first county record for Graham County.

Small plump doves associating with an Inca Dove. Bill was all gray. Narrow black marks were crisp and well defined on tertials and scapulars. White was observed on greater coverts. Breast and head were unmarked, showing no 'scaling'.
