Glaucous-winged Gull (Larus glaucescens), Katherine Landing, Lake Mohave, Mohave County

This Glaucous-winged Gull was found by David Vander Pluym and photographed by David Vander Pluym and Bob Steele on 18 January 2015

There are seven prior records for Arizona five of which are from the Lower Colorado River Valley (the last of which was in 1981).

Large uniform gray gull, with the primaries the same color as the rest of the bird. Large all black bill.
