Red-eyed Vireo (Vireo olivaceus), Picture Canyon, Coconino County

This Red-eyed Vireo was found and photographed by Cris Gentis on 12 September 2015

Casual but nearly annual statewide.

Gray crown with dark border against white supercilium, dark eyeline, reddish-brown eye, olive back and tail, faint yellow wash on undertail coverts and sides, very long bill for a vireo.
