Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Santa Cruz River at Tubac, Santa Cruz County

This Hooded Warbler was found by Rebecca Crofton on 19 October 2015 and photographed by Chris McCreedy on 20 October 2015

Rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. A former review species, reports had increased but recently there has been a decline in reports. However this fall has seen multiple reports.

Distinctive, yellow warbler with black "hood".
