Nutting's Flycatcher (Myiarchus nuttingi), Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge, Mohave CountyThis Nutting's Flycatcher was
found and photographed by Eric Hough on 23 June 2015
Casual in Arizona (only 2 accepted records away from the
Bill Williams River), since at least 2011 a small
population with 5+ individuals reported in most years,
has been found in the Bill Williams River NWR and
breeding was confirmed at this individuals location in
2013. Found by its diagnostic "wheep" call
(recordings
here and
here). ID points visible in these photographs
include the short, stout bill; bright yellow belly;
