Blue Grosbeak (Passerina caerulea), Sweetwater Wetlands, Tucson, Pima County

This Blue Grosbeak was found by Eszter Horanyi on 11 December 2015 and photographed by John Williams on 19 January 2016

Casual in Arizona in winter, with few winter records for Pima County. This appears to winter every year at this site, as a similar Blue Grosbeak has been photo-documented from the same location in 2014 and 2015.

Distinctive, with large bill, overall blue color with brown patches.
