Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Granite Basin Lake, Yavapai County

This Hooded Warbler was found by Carl Tomoff on 8 June 2016 and photographed by Bryan Patrick on 09 June 2016

Rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. A former review species, reports had increased but recently there has been a decline in reports.

Distinctive if seen well, bright yellow warbler with obvious black hood and throat.
