Sandhill Crane (Grus canadensis), Mormon Lake, Coconino County

This Sandhill Crane was found by Lindsay and Keith Story and photographed by Lindsay on 03 June 2016

There are few records for Coconino County, and this is also a very late date in Arizona, with most Sandhill Cranes having departed the state by mid-March. It is worth noting that the only breeding record for Arizona is from this location from 1886!
