Upland Sandpiper (Bartramia longicauda), Railroad Wash Rd, Greenlee County

This Upland Sandpiper was found by Mark Stevenson as well as Molly Pollock, Dave Stejskal and Andrew Core and photographed by Andrew Core and Dave Stejskal on 09 July 2016

There are 10 accepted records for the state with another one pending. If accepted would be the first record of this species for Greenlee County.

Upland Sandpiper has a very distinctive shape with small head, large eyes, thin neck and long tail. Pale face, white belly, and yellow legs are also distinctive
