Bobolink (Dolichonyx oryzivorus), Babbit Tank, Coconino County

This is potentially the same Bobolink that was found and photographed by Jason Wilder on 28 September 2016. Given the 16 days between sightings it is potentially a different bird and the ABC will evalulate.

Once a rare but regular fall migrant and occasional breeder in eastern Arizona, Bobolink in recent years has become very rare and was added to the list of review species.

Bright buffy yellow overall, striped back and crown, with a dark eye line and gray lores.
