Streak-backed Oriole (Icterus pustulatus), Rio Rico, Santa Cruz County

This Streak-backed Oriole was found and photographed by Inayat McCarthy on 16 May 2017

Casual vistior, mostly in fall and winter though it has bred.

Heavy-based straight bill with black on underside of lower mandible, brightest "orange" on the face and particularly the malar region, white edging to the wing feathers.
