Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Cave Springs Campground, Oak Creek Canyon, Coconino County

This Yellow-throated Vireo was found by Kathryn Hart on 26 May 2017 and photographed by Felipe Guerrero on 12 June 2017

Rare, but regular transient and summer visitor, with more than 30 previous records, averaging about one record per year. Possible returning bird as Coconino County first documented record was from this location last summer.

Yellow throat and spectacles. White wing bars and white undertail coverts. Vireo bill.
