Red Crossbill (Loxia curvirostra), Dateland RV Park, Yuma County

This Red Crossbill was found and photographed by Brian Johnson and Matt Victoria on 29 October 2017

Apparently only the second county record, with the first from 1979.

Two birds were apparently present, albeit seen separately, due to wing bars being present on the second bird. The first individual has been identified as a Type 2 bird based on sound recording.
