Least Grebe (Tachybaptus dominicus), Arthur Pack Park, Pima CountyThis Least Grebe was

and also photographed by Andrew Core on 22 November and
by Walt Anderson on 23 November 2017 A casual straggler to the state, often in ponds near the Mexican border;
23 accepted records and four pending. Least Grebe is a small, short-necked grebe with yellow eyes, a thin dark bill, and a gray face, neck, and back. Note its diminutive size compared to Pied-billed Grebes.
