Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Cave Springs Campground, Oak Creek Canyon, Coconino County

This Yellow-throated Vireo was found by Tom Linda on 17 May 2018 and photographed by Gary Botello on 02 June 2018

Rare, but regular transient and summer visitor, with more than 40 previous records, averaging about one record per year. Likely returning bird was first documented here and returning here.

Yellow throat and spectacles. White wing bars and white undertail coverts. Vireo bill.
