Parasitic Jaeger (Stercorarius parasiticus), Havasu Springs Resort, La Paz County

This Parasitic Jaeger was found and photographed by John West on 10 November 2018

Casual in Arizona, if accepted by the ABC this would represent the 20th state record

Gull like with long wings and tail. Pale body and head. The all dark underwings indicate an adult. Streamlined body with a small head. Moderate amount of white in the upper and underwings. Dark brown upperparts uniform. As plumage details are hard to see in these photos the shape of the bird is key to the id.
