Wood Thrush (Hylocichla mustelina), Whitetail Canyon, Chiricahua Mountains, Cochise County

This Wood Thrush was found and photographed by Rick Taylor on 14 October 2018

Casual primarily late fall migrant with 20 prior accepted records and one other pending from this fall. This is the first from the Chiricahua Mountains since 2005.

Medium-large thrush with reddish upper parts, reddest on crown, and white underparts heavily spotted with black.
