Harris's Sparrow (Zonotrichia querula), Palo Duro Golf Course, Santa Cruz County

This Harris's Sparrow was found and photographed by Bill Lisowsky on 11 December 2018

Rare transient and winter visitor in Arizona.

Underparts whitish with dark brown smudgy markings along flanks and breast. Head and face warm brown with spotted crown and black bib. Bill large and pinkish orange.
