Hooded Warbler (Setophaga citrina), Dankworth Pond, Graham County

This Hooded Warbler was found by Janet Holzworth and Connie Wolcott and photographed by Kelly Wright on 21 March 2019

Hooded Warbler is a rare transient and summer visitor with most records in the spring. Records have increased in recent years.

Adult male is unmistakable. Bright yellow with black hood and bib.
