Cave Swallow (Petrochelidon fulva), San Carlos Lake, Pinal County

This Cave Swallow was found and photographed by Caleb Strand on 18 June 2019 at San Carlos Lake. The bird was discovered in Pinal County, but it was at a point of the lake where it flew not only in Pinal County, but in Gila and Graham Counties too.

Casual in Arizona, with only about 10 records accepted by the ABC.

Although these photos are not the greatest, one can still see the light "buffy" thoroat and dark masked appearance. Further description of the bird by the observers rules out the similar Cliff Swallow
