Kentucky Warbler (Geothlypis formosa), along the San Pedro River upstream of Escapule Wash, Sierra Vista, Cochise County

This Kentucky Warbler was found on 10 May 2021 by Mike Stevens and photographed by Chris McCreedy on 11 May 2021

Kentucky Warbler is a casual to rare visitor in the state, more regular during spring and early summer.

Distinctive with entirely bright yellow underparts, blackish mask and sideburns, and a conspicuous yellow supercilium which wraps around the eye.
